Matthew Morris to run Virgin London Marathon in aid of Polycystic Kidney Disease
Matthew Morris, our Tax Partner, is running the Virgin Money London Marathon in April this year in tribute of his father’s brave battle with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD).
Matthew’s father suffered from PKD from the age of 40 and unfortunately passed away when he was just 55 as he was unable to find a kidney donor. Matthew would take his father to the hospital three times a week for his dialysis treatment.
Matthew comments: “I’m running for Kidney Care UK, as my father was diagnosed with PKD when he was 40 and as I turned 40 I wanted to give something back to this great cause”
Kidney Care UK is the UK’s leading kidney patient support charity, providing emotional, practical and financial support for thousands of kidney patients across the UK.
Matthew hopes to raise £5,000 for Kidney Care UK. You can sponsor him here: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-display/showROFundraiserPage?userUrl=MatthewMorris25&pageUrl=1
