The John Buckley Memorial Golf Day 2025

SAVE THE DATE for The John Buckley Memorial Golf Day!

On Friday 20th June 2025, Folkes Worton will be hosting a charity golf day at Blackwell Golf Club in memory of our colleague, John Buckley, who sadly passed away with MND.

All proceeds from the Golf Day will be donated to the MND Association, who are working with us to make this a great success.

Teams are £500, which includes 4 players, bacon sandwich and coffee in the morning and lunch after the round and it is a shotgun start.

If you are struggling to get a 4 ball please contact Jack and he will arrange a member of our staff to play on your team – we have many golfers at Folkes Worton.

More details will be available closer to the time, but we can tell you that there will be some fantastic prizes to win and we’re sponsoring a FREE BAR!

If you’d like to take part or have a team to book-in, please contact Jack Meredith at jm@fwca.co.uk or call 01384 376 964

We already have a number of teams booked in, so the sooner you register your interest, the better!

Can’t make it on the day, but would still like to be part of it?

Donate & Receive a £50 Nickolls & Perks Voucher

We have a ‘JustGiving’ donations page at www.justgiving.com/page/johnbuckleymemorialgolfday

We’d welcome any donations, large or small, to help this worthy cause that is close to our hearts.

Anyone who makes a minimum £25 donation and leaves their contact details will receive a £50 voucher to spend with Nickolls & Perks (winners of the Drinks Retailing Independent Sprits Retailer 2025 award).

Please e-mail jm@fwca.co.uk with your contact details and proof of your donation to receive your £50 voucher.

Thank you for your support!

Sponsor a hole – SOLD OUT!

For just a £100 + VAT donation, you can sponsor one of the holes around the Blackwell course.

Each sponsored hole will have a sign on the tee displaying the logo of the sponsor and a QR code linking directly to their website.

The programme will also display the sponsor’s logo against their hole.
