WARNING! SEISS Phishing Scam doing the rounds!

We’ve been made aware by some clients that they have received an e-mail which looks as though it’s from HMRC with ‘IMPORTANT APPLICATION’ – You’re eligible for the fourth and fifth grants’ in the Subject field – A screen grab of this e-mail is featured here.

The e-mail has a link which asks you to log into your HMRC self-assessment account – DO NOT CLICK THE LINK and delete the e-mail from your network.

E-mails from HMRC DO NOT ask you to go directly from their messages into your account, they will merely inform you if an action has to be taken on your account.

Please Note: Claims for the Fourth Grant have already closed and notification about the Fifth Grant will not be issued by HMRC until late July.
